Christoph Angerer received his Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering from the Vienna University of Technology in 2005 with distinction. In 2003 he studied at the Universtiat Politécnica de Catalunya in spain. During his studies he was part time employed in Philips for software testing. For his diploma thesis entitled “Testbed implementation for low density parity check decoding” he collaborated with the Forschungszentrum Telekommunikation Wien (FTW). After that, he spent one and a half year in industry at Oregano Systems with FPGA design. He started working towards his PhD with the title “Design and exploration of radio frequency identification systems by rapid prototyping” in 2007, which he received in 2010 (with distinction). During his PhD research he was member of the Christian Doppler Labratory for wireless technologies for sustainable technologies.
