Ernst Aschbacher finished the diploma studies in June 2000 with a thesis on Multiuser Communication in CDMA-Networks. From October 2000 until September 2001 he has been a member of the Optical Communications Research Group where he worked on fiber optic DWDM metro-networks.
From September 2001 until September 2005 he has been part of the Rapid Prototyping Research Group, where he worked on digital predistortion for nonlinear power amplifiers, adaptive identification of nonlinear dynamic systems with focus on robust algorithms, and linearization of such systems.
Currently he works for MED-EL Medical Electronics, where his interests focus on noise reduction techniques for speech signals and signal processing for cochlear implants.
