Peter Eder-Neuhauser was born in Oberndorf bei Salzburg (Austria) in 1983.
He spent four years in New York (USA) as a technician in the fields of electrical engineering, mechanical maintenance and ICT networks for cargo robotics.
After returning to Austria in 2006 he obtained a bachelors degree from the UAS Wels and the master degree from the UAS Technikum Vienna. He wrote his Masterthesis at the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) in the department of Electric Energy Systems (EES) on the topic of methods for voltage control in rural power distribution grids for greater penetration of renewable energy systems.
In early 2014 he started working at the Technical University Vienna in the URBEM doctoral college as a research associate and PhD student. The research fields are communication security, security by communication architectures and optimization in urban smart grids.
Peter Eder-Neuhauser has completed his doctoral studies in April 2018.
