Bashar Tahir was born in 1992 in Baghdad, Iraq. He received his B.Sc. in Electronics and Communications Engineering in 2014 from the Applied Science University, Jordan, and his Dipl.-Ing. (equivalent to M.Sc.) in Telecommunications in 2017 at the TU Wien, Austria. Currently, he is employed at the Institute of Telecommunications, TU Wien, and working towards his Ph.D., with the main focus being on non-orthogonal multiple access and its interaction with other technologies.
