Wolfgang Gartner was born in May 1979 in Vienna, Austria. He did his Higher School Certificate at the Polytechnic Institute for Control Engineering. At the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien he studied “Electronics and Business” (Specialization Embedded Systems). His Bachelor Thesis focused on IEEE 1588 Standard for Synchronizing Clocks. He did his Master Degree at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien in “Embedded Systems”. His Master Thesis focused on Low Power FPGA/ASIC Design. Since August 2009, Wolfgang Gartner is employed as an Embedded Systems Engineer at the Institute of Telecommunications (Vienna University of Technology). Additionally, since 2020, he is Lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien for “Embeddes Systems and Realtime”.
