    dear Fjolla/Martin,

    In the simulator I find a mat file named “BICM_k_d_MSE.mat”,but I don’t know the means of the parameters k and d means. codes are copied below:

    load(‘./+utils/BICM_k_d_MSE.mat’,’k’,’d’);
    LTE_config.MI_data.k = k;
    LTE_config.MI_data.d = d;
    LTE_config.scheduler_params.k = LTE_config.MI_data.k; % to map from CQI to spectral efficiency
    LTE_config.scheduler_params.d = LTE_config.MI_data.d; % to map from CQI to spectral efficiency

    Thank you for your attention.

    Best regards,
    zuozuo

    heool, zuozuo.

    did you get the any idea about the parameters?

    Dear all,

    The [k,d] value-pair corresponds to slope (k) and intercept (d) of a linear approximation of the BICM curves around the SNR regime relevant for a given CQI.

    I recommend reading the paper listed below that explain the details about this approximation :
    – S. Schwarz, Ch. Mehlführer and M. Rupp “Low Complexity Approximate Maximum Throughput Scheduling for LTE”;

    Best regards,
    Fjolla
