    Hi,
    the UE connects to the eNodeB according to the lowest pathloss in the macroscopicpathloss
    as
    function [ b_, s_, s_idx] = cell_assignment(obj,pos,varargin)
    % i have skipped some code
    pixel_coord = LTE_common_pos_to_pixel([x_ y_],obj.coordinate_origin,obj.data_res);
    s_idx = obj.sector_assignment(pixel_coord(2),pixel_coord(1));
    b_s_ = obj.sector_idx_mapping(s_idx,:);
    b_ = b_s_(1);
    s_ = b_s_(2);
    end
    end

    I cannot find the the sector_assignment function which finds the lowest pathloss and assign it to the UE position
    Can anyone help ?
    Thanks

    Hi,

    I think sector_assignment is a property rather than a method. However, this question is related to the system level simulator which is why I moved it. I hope you get better answers here.

    greetings

    Dear Farah,

    the sector assignment is calculated in LTE_common_calculate_cell_capacity.m, based on max SINR.

    Best regards,
    Martin.
