Pathloss, SNR and delay

    Hi,

    I would like to ask about the pathloss and SNR in the LTE_LL_UL_v1.3_r719 simulator for any channel mode?
    How to calculate the delay after running the simulation and have a .mat file.

    Hi,

    in the Link Level (LL) simulators, there is no underlying geometry implemented, meaning; there is no cell size or distance to a user. Therefore there is also no pathloss model. The SNR is a input parameter to the simulation. To achieve different SNR values, the transmit power is fixed to one and the received noise power is adapted.

    I am not quite sure what you mean by delay? Basically we do not support HARQ in this version of the simulator. A codeword is either decoded correctly or not, there is no re-transmission.

    Regarding the delay, I meant the packet delay or Packet Loss ratio (PLR).

    Hi,

    as I said, a packet delay cannot be simulated with the link level simulator. However, we offer a simulation result that is called BLock Error Ratio (BLER) which is the ratio of not successfully decoded codewords transmitted.
