I am trying to implement a scheduler that avoid assigning the same RBs to adjacent sectors to reduce interference. I have successfully implemented the scheduler however I notice no change in SINR, even with a high number of sectors.
Does the interference calculation for SINR not take into account what frequencies the interring eNodeB is using? My scheduler effectively increases the reuse factor of the sub-carriers but this seems to have no effect on interference which I would expect it to.
I also notice that when using the FFR scheduler to simulate frequency reuse-1 and reuse-3 setups, the SINR for both is the same. I would expect the interference for reuse-3 to be less due to each sector using a discrete portion of the bandwidth?
