    Dear sir

    I am planning to use the 5G mmwave frequency bands as the carrier frequency (24 GHz/28 GHz/ 8 GHz) in the simulator. Is it possible? If yes, could you please give some hints on “how”?

    Thanks in Advance

    Dear Nabil,

    Yes, our simulator supports different carrier frequencies.

    There is a fold called scenario. You could also configure your scenario file here.

    In these scenario files, you can find a parameter named

    scStr.simulation.centerFrequency = 2.5e9; % center frequency.

    You can define the carrier frequency here.

    Best,

    Dear Nabil,

    please note, that the center frequency only impacts the channel model in terms of the maximum Doppler shift. In case the user velocity is set to zero in a simulation, there will be no difference at all by just changing the center frequency.

    Please make sure that the employed channel model (power delay profile) suites your scenario corresponding to the chosen center frequency.

    kind regards

    dear sir

    can I compare the performances of different modulation schemes at 28 GHz 5G band using this simulator? any hint please?

    thanks in advance
