    Dear moderators,

When a simulation reaches the phase of UEs generation, I’ve noticed that it comes in two different ways. Sometimes it shows as “UE #: …”, and sometimes as “+UE #: …” Could you please tell me what’s the difference between those two?

Also, below the “UE #: …” part, a counting shows up. It usually goes up to 20, but sometimes it doesn’t reach that number. What does the simulator do during that counting? I mean, what’s the goal of it, and what’s the difference between reaching 20 and not doing it.

Thank you in advance for your time and attention.

    Best regards,
    Oscar

    Dear Oscar,

That is only to give you an idea what is being generated when during a simulation. If you are using the 3D model, you can notice when the desired channel is generated ‘UE 1:’, and the interfering channels as ‘1,2, … N’. The number of interfering base stations is limitted by a threshold applied, so if there are less interferers, you will see the corresponding number of interfering channels generated.

    Best,
    Fjolla
