    1- why the thermal noise divided by half Resource Block in the calculation if Wideband SINR ?

    2- Does the RX_total, calculated for RBs in one subframe or these RX_total for one RB ?

    obj.wideband_SINR = 10*log10(sum(RX_total(:))/(sum(interf_power_all_RB(:))+thermal_noise_watts_per_half_RB*nSC));


    Hi Omar,

    for accumulating the interference, two samples are used per RB (trade-off between accuracy and complexity). This is also done for the noise power and therefore nSC = 2*nRB. To be consistent, this number is multiplied with half of the noise power per RB. In the end, it equates to thermal noise power density multiplied by total bandwidth.
